  • Diamondhead Lake is a private community operated by the Long Branch Maintenance Corporation (LBMC), an Iowa Home Owners Association (HOA).
  • All residents of Diamondhead Lake must be members of the HOA, LBMC, pay dues, fees, & assessments, and agree to abide by its rules and bylaws.
  • LBMC maintains the lake, the roads, and all common areas of the lake property.
  • The LBMC Board of Directors, elected from the membership-at-large for two year terms, is the primary governing body of the community.
  • Diamondhead Lake is private, for the use of LBMC members and guests only, and so the general public cannot use the lake.
  • Diamondhead Lake is located in Guthrie County, Iowa, and the County Sheriff is the first responder for police and 911, while Stuart, Iowa, is the first responder for fire and ambulance.
  • We are in the West Central Valley school district comprised of Dexter, Menlo, Redfield, and Stuart, and our beautiful new high school opened in the fall of 2010.
  • Our mail is delivered by the Dexter, Iowa, Post Office.
  • Water is furnished by Xenia Rural Water.
  • Our sanitary sewer is operated by the Diamondhead Sanitary District.
